On this episode of Free Thinking, Montel talks with Glen “Lewis” Hapeman, a terminally disabled Navy Veteran. While fighting for his life medically, an unexpected four legged angel came to his aide. Lewis rescued an abandoned pitbull named Honey, and then she rescued him. Lew was awarded a grant to send Honey to service dog training school, and she has never left his side since. Lewis and Honey and battling homelessness and need support to keep a roof over their heads while Lewis lives out his final days.
